— CAITLYN’S STORY
Caitlyn grew up watching her parents build their businesses, and simultaneously their dreams. Both entrepreneurs, they modeled what it looked like to bet on yourself, build something from scratch, and never wait for someone else to create the opportunity.
She started her first business at 17 — not from a business plan, but from a moment that mattered. After a family friend's child had a near-drowning experience, Caitlyn, a lifelong competitive swimmer, stepped in and taught that two-year-old how to safely navigate the water.
What started as one lesson became her first company, Jump Start Swimming — a business that within a couple years grew into nearly two dozen instructors, three facilities, and hundreds of families every summer learning water safety across Orange County, California. While studying business and child development at Cal State Fullerton, she was simultaneously managing staff, running operations, and learning the fundamentals of building something real from the ground up.
Nearly a decade later, after spending those years working with families and teachers of children with autism, the pandemic hit. Caitlyn made a decision: it was time to build something new. She moved to Atlanta, got her real estate license, and quickly realized her natural pull wasn't just toward real estate — it was toward real estate investing.
She started investing with a house hack — in 2022, she converted her basement into a studio apartment, rented it out, and felt the click of something falling into place. Then came a chance encounter at a PadSplit meetup — and that was it. She knew coliving was the strategy she'd been looking for.
Since then, she hasn't looked back.
Today Caitlyn owns and operates a growing portfolio of coliving homes across the Atlanta metro — sourced, renovated, furnished, and operated by her and her team. She coaches women through building their own portfolios, co-founded the She Leads Coliving community and the annual Women's Coliving Summit.
She brings the businesswoman's instinct, the entrepreneur's discipline, the realtor's negotiation skills, and the investor's eye to everything she does.
And she's here to help you do the same.
